This guide walks through the features and functionality available on the Patient Homepage in
ReactEHR.
📋 1. Navigating to the Patient Homepage
- Log in to your ReactEHR dashboard.
- Use the search bar or client list to locate a patient.
- Click the patient’s name to view their homepage.
🧑 2. Patient Profile Panel (Top Right)
This section displays a summary of patient demographics and status:
- Photo: Editable via "Edit" button
- Name, Age, DOB, Gender
- MRN: Unique medical record number
- Code Status: Example: Full Code w/o Intubation
- Location: Group, address, and room number
- Map Link: Opens location in Google Maps
- Allergies: Displayed in red/orange for visibility
❤️ 3. Vitals Banner
Displays the most recent vital signs (with date):
- Ht, Wt, BP, Hr, RR,
O2, T, Gluc
📇 4. Sidebar Navigation Menu
Use the sidebar to access patient modules:
- Client Info
- Contacts
- Notes (with badge for new entries)
- Appointments
- Medications
- Allergies
- Medical, Surgical, Social, and Family History
- Vitals
- Labs & Imaging

- Immunizations
- Download (PDF or zip export)
🧾 5. Client Details Section
Edit basic demographics and contact information:
- Name: First, Middle, Last
- DOB: Uses date picker
- Gender and Identity: Dropdowns
- Phone and Email: Clickable
➕ 6. "+ New" Button
Adds new patient content, depending on context (e.g., notes, appointments, etc.).
📌 7. Visual Indicators
- Status Badge (e.g., "Active")
- Notification Badges on notes and alerts
- Allergy Tags for visibility and safety
💡 Tips for Use
- Use the “Vitals” tab for trends and historical review.
- “Map Link” is useful for travel-based providers.
- Review “Notes” frequently — badges mean unread entries.
🛠 Suggestions for Admins
- Enable filtering for out-of-range vitals.
- Add tooltips for abbreviations and icons.
- Ensure editing permissions are role-specific.
